Imagine the intersection of Goth and military, or a member of the French Legion spliced with a futuristic Prometheus clone and you get ASGER JUEL LARSEN‘s collection for Spring/Summer 2013. A “ghetto grunge” range set against the designer’s gothic/wartime tapestry and a tailored sport aesthetic, ASGER’s eclectic springtime scene includes ’90s-referencing bomber jackets, kilts, polo tops, jogging pants, and unconventionally-cut coats that recall both the French Legion and The Matrix in equal measure. Cementing this season’s “ghetto Goth” persona, meanwhile, is a collaborative jewelry collection with CastroNYC, along with boots by Palladium.
