When Robert Geller presented his Spring/Summer 2013 collection, the overall aesthetic showcased a balanced approach between the post-punk vibe from past seasons with a subdued, more casual approach than before. Part of the designer’s more traditional “day-off” styles were afforded in large part by a return to timeless staple pieces like this Indigo Denim Trucker Jacket. Featuring trademark denim jacket pieces like contrasting yellow stitchwork and bronze button hardware, Geller manages to infuse a level of unconventionality through tailored double-breasted pockets and a sculpted lower hem. Slight distressing along the elbows and front pockets finishes things off by adding a bit of character to the rich indigo without dumbing down the dark due too much.
