Award-winning Australian photographer Dean West has teamed up with LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya on a series of tableau compositions. Real-life photography is combined with specially-sculpted LEGO objects, spurring viewers to deconstruct the elements of each picture. Minimal, chilling, and at times mundane, the images reflect an eery yet recognizable American landscape, drawing users to the familiarity of the scene which contrasts with the aloof and isolated depictions of the people pictured.
