Not to be confused with the ’80s pop star who sang the title track “Like a Virgin,” Riccardo Tisci presents Givenchy‘s latest retail delivery in the form of five tops adorned with a Renaissance-inspired graphical representation of the Madonna, or maybe better known as the Virgin Mary. Following our announcement earlier this month that MR PORTER received a Madonna Printed Cotton-Jersey T-Shirt to its webstore, honeyee.com offers a more comprehensive look at the religious iconography and fashion mash-up. Built with premium cotton and satin materials, this March stocking comes in the form of three T-shirts, a collarless baseball-style jacket, and a crewneck sweatshirt, all of which feature a facial depiction of the Madonna. With prices ranging from ¥38,850 to ¥278,250 JPY (approximately $410 to $2,950 USD), Givenchy’s latest grouping of spring drops should be currently available at select high-end retailers.
