Shwood presents MAKERS: Holiday Customs

Shwood eyewear has been releasing profiles of independent artisans via their MAKERS series, with the latest covering the exploits of Jared Johnson. Johnson owns and operates Holiday Customs, a custom motorcycle shop in Portland completely by himself. With an obsession with motor parts and assembly dating back to the “go-kart” years, as it were, Johnson has made a career out of handcrafting motorbikes for people with expendable, though limited, incomes. His aesthetic is greasy, rugged and strong, preferring to leave weld evidence to lend his work a handcrafted feel, which seems all the more fitting for Shwood’s MAKERS.
