Nike 2013 Spring Air Base II VNTG

Nike starts the year off strong by plucking the Air Base II VNTG from the archives and updating it with six new colorways. Pictured here is the highest contrast colorway of the initial three released that mixes black, imperial purple, wild mango and varsity maize (exotic colors, I know). Complementing the colors are the mesh, suede and smooth leather upper they’re applied to, which paired with the off-white midsole allows the Air Base II VNTG to stand out as a fresh update in its own right while respecting its heritage.
