Hit-Boy has racked up quite the list of clientele throughout his career, having already worked with artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Britney Spears, Rihanna and much more. Now it looks like the Grammy-winning producer is set to team up with M.I.A. for her new album, Matangi. During Sunday’s Grammys, Hit-Boy snuck in a short interview backstage with CBS and revealed that he has already recorded seven songs with M.I.A.’s forthcoming album.

We just locked in the studio and just vibed. We did seven incredible records… She’s really creative. She’s doing exactly what comes to her. That’s why we were able to crank out that many songs. We just did it.

Up top you can check out the full interview. M.I.A. is currently looking at releasing her new album on April 15, but there’s still no confirmation.
