Kenzo 2013 Resort Collection "Electric Jungle" Video by Mat Maitland

To celebrate the new Resort 2013 collection, Kenzo commissioned London-based illustrator and art director Mat Maitland to create a small film bringing to life the clothes and accessories. His image range and past repertoire of obsessions which include wild animals, pop colors and patterns perfectly interlock with Kenzo’s spirit by echoing some of the brand’s own codes. Compellingly original, the viral plunges the viewer into an intriguing and electric parallel universe in which a striking looking Kenzo girl has prints juxtaposed on her face – with additional elements including leopards running wild and almost fluorescent snakes making their way through these chaotic and hazardous looking landscapes.
