West Coast footwear label CLAE has returned for 2013 with another smart collection for the modern man. This time around, the focus is on everyday essentials and for CLAE, this means reinterpretations of its classic silhouettes — the Ellington, Strayhorn, Powell and Hamilton — that have been revamped for spring/summer with an assortment of new and inspired materials. Six new models, meanwhile, have been added to the label’s range this season – offerings that include the Mills (a refined runner on a cork-wrapped midsole) and the Marlin (a simple yet sophisticated low-top in striking seasonal colorways). Elsewhere, CLAE’s Desmond and the Nicholson make notable use of Vibram soles for a combination of both comfort and durability. The collection is available now for purchase online.
