With a month of work, new releases, and other events behind us, 2013 feels more halfway done than a sixth of the way over. Many may already be looking forward to a summertime vacation several months away, and as such the new 2013 spring/summer collection from Burkman Bros. may be the perfect alleviation. The brand – led by two ambitious Canadian brothers – released its lookbook for the new season, complete with bright, colorful, yet mature prints. Here, a selection of bright red, teal and mustard shades are integrated into paisley, striped, and diamond patterning on shirts and bottoms. Shorts are given a dressier treatment with casual slanted pockets, making for an altogether interesting, yet never contrived presentation.
