XLARGE x Converse Japan XR991

After showing you an early preview of the XLARGE x Converse, we’ve got a full look at the upcoming collaboration. For this project, XLARGE and Converse JP have come up with a brand new silhouette: the XR991. Reminiscent of the Nike Air Vortex VNTG, the shoe is based on a military concept and features a navy suede and camo nylon mesh upper with reflective tape accents throughout. The side heel detailing of the shoe is pulled from Converse’s Auckland Racer silhouette. Rounding out the look is the white, marble, and grey midsole with hits of red to brighten it all up. The XLARGE x Converse Japan XR991 is set to drop on December 21 exclusively in Japan at XLARGE locations.
