Transcendence Official Trailer

Marking the directorial debut of Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister of Inception and the Dark Knight franchise, Alcon Entertainment presents a full-length trailer to its sci-fi thriller Transcendence. Starring Johnny Depp as Dr. Will Caster, a group of the foremost researchers in Artificial Intelligence – including actors Paul Bettany and Rebecca Hall – are working towards creating a sentient machine that exceeds the collective intelligence of everyone ever to have walked our planet. After a successful attempt on his life leaves him on his deathbed, Caster decides to become the subject of his very own transcendence by uploading his conscious mind to a machine. What ensues is a terrifying struggle for power and knowledge of the unknown. Transcendence will hit the big screen on April 17, 2014.
