Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 577 "Americana"

Those waiting in line for the “Daytona” release at Kith last week may have noticed a new addition to the store space, delivered in the form of the Kith Courtyard. The room is meant to unite the ‘galactic future’ and ‘heritage’ concepts that Kith stores are based on. In celebration of these idea, Ronnie Fieg is set to unveil yet another collaborative release with New Balance: the “Americana.” This time around, Fieg considers New Balance’s classic 577 silhouette with rich tones of navy and red. The upper mimics denim’s rough ridges in appearance, but feels like rich, oily pigskin suede to the touch. This is contrasted by a navy cotton lining at the interior, as well as a space-inspired speckled ENCAP® midsole. As they will not appear at Kith stores for now, look for this release to drop at a random time today on Kith’s website for $160 USD.
