Nike Basketball continues its Black Mamba-centric weekly “Prelude” drops with the debut of the collection’s take on the Nike Zoom Kobe V. Even lower and lighter than the groundbreaking Nike Zoom Kobe IV and originally laced up by the Lakers superstar in 2009, the V’s “Prelude” edition celebrates Kobe’s status in pop culture with a vibrant pop art-inspired upper while a gold-filled Swoosh and tongue logo pay homage to Bryant’s 2009 NBA Finals MVP performance and that year’s Lakers championship. The University Gold/Metallic Gold-Gamma Blue Nike Zoom Kobe V “Prelude” will be available on Saturday, January 4 for $200 USD.
