Nike Tennis Debuts New Lunar Ballistec

Nike Tennis has debuted a brand new model, the Lunar Ballistec, to usher in the new year. The lightweight performance shoe borrows performance cues from Nike’s football and basketball silhouettes, and features a synthetic leather and mesh upper with Dynamic Flywire supports that wrap around the arch and midfoot to provide an adaptive foot during play. The midsole is a full-length Lunarlon unit adapted specifically for tennis and boasts TPU shank for stability during hard cuts and quick changes in direction. The weight-savings extend down to the outsole, which features traction only at points of contact to ensure no excess weight. The Lunar Ballistec will be launching January 2 for men and women at select stockists and Nike’s online store.
