N.E.R.D. - Run To The Sun (Trackademicks Remix)

It’s not too often that we get quality N.E.R.D. remixes, but in light of this week being “Pharrell Week,” Trackademicks figured what better way to participate than to supply an updated version of a Skateboard P classic. Reworking “Run To The Sun,” off the N.E.R.D. album In Search Of…, Trackademicks continues his streak of quality remixes, this time around incorporating some xylophone keys and whistles as he reimagines the tune. Also giving fans a little background as to where the inspiration for the remix came from via his Instagram, you can read what he had to say as well as stream/download the remix below.

NEW REMIX! Fresh Off The Boards. Had to take it back to the genesis on this one. I still remember seeing N*E*R*D for their first show at the Fillmore after they dropped #InSearchOf…Back when @sausageandboots #Wanderland CD was only available in the UK. Her, The Clipse, Spymob were all in the house… #StarTrak was deep. This is my favorite group. #InSearchOf is my favorite album. No one has ever ‘struck a chord’ with me the way they did. Normally I wouldn’t have touched anything they’ve ever done, but it started coming together unintentionally… Just go with the #Flow, #Track!
