Recently awarded 2013’s word of the year by the esteemed Oxford Dictionary, the term “selfie” exploded into pop culture during the last decade as a moniker for categorizing self-portraits. It appears in our everyday conversations, social media feeds and now even various forms of advertising. Athletic superstars Kobe Bryant and Lionel Messi come together once again, this time for Turkish Airlines, to one-up each other in an extreme game of selfie tag complete with underwater cams and photo-bombs.
