Previewed just a few days earlier, Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled the striking rollout campaign for Chanel‘s 2013 pre-fall collection. In following with this season’s “Paris-Edinburgh” designation, the campaign takes a moody, intimate approach to the range of 14th century-influenced apparel, enlisting none other than French celebrity model Baptiste Giabiconi to sport the pieces. A concise set of two photos reveal sharp, masculine tartan layers and elongated knit tunics, garnished with illustrious gem-chains and feather patterns to denote eminence. Shot by Lagerfeld himself, enjoy a look at the immersive campaign here, and be on the lookout for more striking images.
