Beyoncé to Top Album Charts, Sales Surpass 400K in One Day
Beyoncé’s new visual album has been making serious waves since it was released on Friday

Beyoncé‘s new visual album has been making serious waves since it was released on Friday exclusively through iTunes. The first numbers are in and they indicate that the heat is swapping over to next week as well when BEYONCÉ is set to debut No. 1 on Billboard‘s 200 charts with over 430,000 copies sold in just one day. Two more days remain in the sales week and chances are that Bey’s fifth solo album will surpass the 600,000 mark. This would make it Beyoncé’s best debut and biggest sales week ever, surpassing 2006′s B’day album, which sold 541,000 opening week in September 2006. One thing’s certain, the final sales number will become the biggest debuting album by a female artist since Taylor Swift’s Red LP, which has sold 1.2 million copies opening week in November 2012.
