Abuela - Sapa

Check out this new video from Abuela, the collaborative project between the ever-evolving sound & light production team of Evan ‘E. Vax’ Mast (Ratatat, Jay-Z) and the White Wizard (White Flight). The band shot the video for “SAPA” in southern Peru, where they lived while writing and recording. They drew inspiration from their surroundings, using instruments of the region (various flutes, charangos, percussion) and combining them with cutting-edge audio software to create a sound both organic and electronic, making a body of music that truly transcends time. An album is slated to release in 2014, stay tuned.
