Viberg Boot Painted Horsehide Service Boots

Viberg Boot has released a limited run of its classic Service Boots featuring painted horsehide uppers. Available in either black or white, the boots are handmade using painted leather from the famous Italian Guidi & Rossellini tannery. After receiving the leather, the craftsmen at Viberg decided to remove some of the paint, giving the shoes a unique distressed look. To preserve the look, the leather has been treated with a heavy dose of beeswax. To keep the focus solely on the unique leather, the rest of the shoe has been left relatively simple. Just 10 pairs were produced, of which a few are still left at the Viberg Boot online store.
