The Hobbit‘s long-running cinematic saga is set to continue as Warner Brothers releases the trailer for its forthcoming second installment. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will follow Bilbo Baggins and his band of 13 dwarves as they embark on an epic quest to reclaim the Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor and battle with the dragon Smaug. Peter Jackson, who has handled the whole of the J.R.R. Tolkien adaptations so far, will reprise his role as director, while Ian McEllen, Martin Freeman and Orlando Bloom will also star in the fantasy epic. Enjoy the trailer above, and look for the film upon its December 13 release.
