Whereas NAISSANCE‘s 2013 fall/winter collection was a rather somber affair, the Japanese label’s 2014 spring/summer collection is a much brighter, more optimistic affair. Inspired by the sights and sounds of Hawaii, designer Takashi Kumagai wasn’t shy about showcasing the island’s vast color pallete, adding it to all facets of the collection. The influence can be seen in the relaxed cuts and carefree vibe, and is most vividly illustrated by Kumagai’s take on the classic aloha print. The collection is set to go on sale at NAISSANCE stockists next year.
