Jawbone has partnered up with water-safe treatment specialist Liquipel to add a durable extension its regular and mini JAMBOX series with the introduction of Jawbone’s Liquipel Waterproof JAMBOX. The application of a microscopically thin liquid repellent coating – also available for phones, tablets, MP3s and headphones over at Liquipel’s site - results in a portable speaker that is shower, bath, pool and beach-friendly. The nano coating treatment is available for an additional $50 USD when purchasing a JAMBOX or MINIJAMBOX via Jawbone’s website.
