J Dilla x Joey Bada$$ x Akomplice 2013 Fall/Winter Capsule Collection

Longtime streetwear label Akomplice has joined forces with the J Dilla Foundation and Joey Bada$$ to present a capsule collection in celebration of fashion and music. Melding unreleased music from the late great artist with those of the burgeoning Brooklyn emcee, the capsule range looks to further bring awareness to youth’s access to music via inspirational hip-hop figures. Here, the T-shirt and a crewneck sweater feature an overhaul of nimbus cloud graphics, while a 7” record consists of “Two Lips” by J Dilla alongside an exclusive number by Bada$$. With philanthropy at its center, all profits made will go towards funding inner-city music programs and helping underprivileged kids. The limited capsule collection will be available at selected Akomplice retailers and the brand’s online store from November 29.
