Isolda x Converse 2013 Fall/Winter Collection
Brazilian architect and fashion designer Alessandra Addonso Ferreira of Isolda aligns with Converse

Brazilian architect and fashion designer Alessandra Addonso Ferreira of Isolda aligns with Converse to celebrate the vibrant culture of her native country with a collection of iconic sneakers dripped in bold watercolors and exotic hues.
“The notion of color and self-expression is a very important part of Brazilian culture,” says Ferreira. “It was exciting to fuse the creative and rebellious universe from Converse with Isolda’s tropical fashion chic and create prints reminiscent of my childhood in Northeastern Brazil and as a teenager in England during the 1980s Punk scene.”
The Isolda sneaker range will feature a total of nine different prints rendered on three Converse silhouettes – the Chuck Taylor All Star, CONS Auckland and CONS Skidgrip. Additionally, you may notice that the audacious prints also show images of tropical items like cashews, guavas, gemstones and lobsters. Finally, each model is constructed with a durable canvas upper, canvas lining and logos made from a premium white leather. Unfortunately, the above collection is exclusive to Brazil and currently available at select retailers including Dona Coisa and Cartell 001 with prices ranging from $110 USD to $130 USD.
