In celebration of 30 years of design innovation and timepiece artistry, Casio has released their G-Shock in a limited edition “Lightning Yellow” series. The vibrant color choice, to specifically represent the toughness and boldness of its user, is also representative of the watch’s original shockproof design concept, drawing parallels between the sharpness and strength of lightning with the G-Shock’s durability and loud design. Taking form in the classic GD-X6900 model, the “Lightning Yellow” collection is sealed with a 30th anniversary engraving at the back cover and three star-marks to further commemorate the occasion.
