A Closer Look at the CLOT x Converse First String 2013 Holiday “Chang Pao” Collection

Coming just a few days after receiving our first up-close look at their collaborative “Chang Pao” collection, CLOT and Converse First String present new imagery as well as a short video piece highlighting their fifth partnering effort. As mentioned previously, this two-piece range draws inspiration from traditional Chinese clothing of the same name. Utilizing the timeless Chuck Taylor silhouette in your choice of blue suede or white canvas, CLOT customizes each with three chang pao buttons stitched to the lateral sides. Additional details include multicolored eyelets, a classic gum sole, premium leather at its heel and Converse patch, added cushioning, and special gold foil packaging that includes a printed dust bag. The CLOT x Converse First String 2013 holiday “Chang Pao” collection launched earlier in the week on October 31, retailing exclusively at the Juice Pop-Up store in Los Angeles. Starting today however, the commemorative pack is now available at Juice in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur with select Converse First String retailers across the globe expecting to have their own stocking Friday, November 8.
