adidas Introduces The RGIII

To celebrate this year’s Veteran’s Day on November 11 and Robert Griffin III‘s family ties to the military, adidas introduces its first signature shoe with the famed quarterback  – a military-inspired football cleat titled the RGIII. Featuring an all-camo upper under a grey-scale colorway, the signature cleats furthers its army inspiration through green hues on the side panel’s mesh patches and introduces a standout element through its blood red tongue and laces. Signed versions of the shoes appear as the centerpiece for adidas’s Veteran’s Day gift box that also includes a matching snapback, T-shirt and adidas Team Speed socks, and can be ordered for $1,111 USD come April 1, 2014. The sale of the pack will directly benefit Operation Renewed Hope Foundation with 100% of the proceeds being donated.
