Typically featured for its versatile mid-tops, Japanese footwear staple Terrem takes a different route on its offerings via a new partnership with design trio Plantica. To recount, Plantica specializes in floral aesthetics, applying complex repeating patterns everywhere from contemporary interiors to music videos. This latest project finds flora executed across two silhouettes, though defying the trend through its radical, naturally colorful screens.
The first shoe – a decidedly green and yellow number – takes cues from a traditional trainer in its shape, though conveniently harbors a sockliner on the interior for a custom fit. A pristine white sole is fused with the upper, adding a sense of athleticism to the sneaker. The second shoe is a more refined loafer-style sneaker, executed with blue flowers around the upper and accented with an aqua blue band at the top. Look for both silhouettes at Terrem retailers like ZOZOTOWN in the near future.
