Nike‘s offerings for the fairer sex continue to roll out as the brand introduces a new rendition of its Air Max 1. The “Liquid Metal” version finds the shoe executed with a gold-coated upper, contrasted by a matted white outsole. Detailing on the tongue references the periodic table, with “Au” printed on the tongue. On the interior of the shoe, a luxurious white leather lines the walls, including a perforated insole. Perhaps the “Liquid Metal” isn’t the most subtle release from the Swoosh camp, but there’s a certain charming and ornate vibe about the pair that might work with the right wearer. Interested ladies – and the small-of-feet – can pick these up for $140 USD at stores such as Bodega beginning October 19.
