As a part of the highly anticipated Sotheby’s auction curated by Jony Ive and Marc Newson, a new addition to the collection has been unveiled. Joining a collection that already includes a Leica M series camera and Jaeger-LeCoultre watches, the Apple design leader and creative polymath got together to produce a special (RED) edition of the recently announced Mac Pro computer. Accordingly, the powerful 9.9-inch device has been outfitted with Product (RED)‘s signature red color. Interested parties will have to up the ante to claim this 1-of-1 piece, which is expected by Sotheby’s officials to sell between $40,000 and $60,000 USD.
