honeyee.com Inc. to be Purchased by Artana Inc.

Interesting business news comes from Japan today as we discovered that honeyee.com Inc. is being taken over by Artana Inc., an IT firm in Miyazaki prefecture. The eponymous website started in 2005 under the leadership of Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design, Hirofumi Kiyonaga of SOPH., and Hiroki Nakamura of visvim. Since its inception, the website and company have done well to emphasize streetwear, graffiti, and the generations of culture in Japan. It has been reported that much of the staff – including presiding Editor-in-Chief Tetsuya Suzuki – will keep their original positions.
