Combining the powerhouses of the Korean fashion scene, contemporary retailer BEAKER teamed up with LIFUL for a fitting capsule collection of goods. The two brands collaborated on a range of five pieces, including a knit, mack coat, down vest, fishtail parka and down-filled parka for the forthcoming cold season. Drawing inspiration from both the vintage academic precedent set by BEAKER and the minimalist contemporary motifs of LIFUL, the collection expresses smart details and wearable lines. Small particulars like partial waffle knitting on the knit, the slim shape of the down parka, or the subtle plaid of the vest add a nice ornate garnish to existing staples such as pinpoint oxfords or woolen trousers.
