The Place Beyond the Pines Trailer

The Place Beyond the Pines finds Ryan Gosling reteaming with director Derek Cianfrance – having worked together on the critically acclaimed romance/drama Blue Valentine back in 2010. Once again drawn to a character who defines himself by his mode of transportation like last year’s Drive, Gosling plays a motorcycle stunt rider who considers committing a crime in order to provide for his newborn child. Mixing genre elements with drama pacing, the film looks to be chock full of all the pieces that make for a thrilling ride. The film hits theaters on March 29 and co-stars Bradley Cooper, Ray Liotta and Eva Mendes.
