Casio G-Shock celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with an exquisite anniversary watch series titled “Inital Blue.” The iconic watch first debuted in 1983 and has since gone through an evolution in both style and technicality. The GW-9930B sees a stern black build accented by metallic blue detailing. The watch also pushes technical boundaries with a radio wave receiver functional in Japan, China, Europe, and the United States which helps ensure accurate timekeeping. In addition, GW-9930B is equipped with a temperature measuring function ranging from -10℃ to 60℃ and an advanced compass function. This ice-cool timepiece lists at ¥40,000 JPY (approximately $458 USD) and is expected to launch in January 2013.
