Saddled amongst the exorbitantly-priced watches at this year’s SIHH was the Ralph Lauren RL67 Safari Chronometer. While not exactly a bargain with a $3,250 USD price tag, the Ralph Lauren RL67 Safari Chronometer enters the mix as a combo of sport and heritage. A 45mm case made of a burnished gunmetal features an easy-to-read display with a bold red seconds hand. Further enhancing the watch’s position as a casual offering, an olive green canvas strap and gunmetal buckle solidify the notion. The watch’s internals include an Richemont-modified self-winding calibre which is also RL’s first chronometer-certified movement. Look for the watch in the coming months through select retailers.
