Billboard are currently in the midst of an overhaul of its brand for both its magazine and website. The relaunch of the new look magazine will feature none other than pop icon, Prince.
As well as the magazine getting a makeover, Billboard’s website will feature new chart formats that will be made available to share on social media. An iPad app is also in the pipeline which will include playable music, videos, photo galleries, fan ratings and artist pages. The January 26 release will also feature an in-depth interview with Prince and a letter from Billboard editor Bill Werde:
“The music industry is a dynamic place, and this book will serve your information needs more than ever, going deeper into the trends, technologies and ideas shaping your decisions. If you don’t learn something that will help your business in every issue, we aren’t doing our jobs.”
The new issue of Billboard hits shelves January 26.
