Designed by Pininfarina and unveiled in 2010 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Italian design firm and the 100-year anniversary of Alfa Romeo, Mazda and Fiat have confirmed that the Pininfarina Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta Concept is set to make its way to production in the years ahead. Inspired by the iconic Alfa Romeo Duetto and based on the next-generation Mazda MX-5 – the latest evolution of the Miata – the 2uettottanta roadster will be manufactured at Mazda’s plant in Hiroshima, Japan and is rumored to feature a 4-cylinder, 1.3-liter turbocharged engine capable of about 200 horsepower. Look for the tiny two-seat convertible to be available come 2015.
