Mike West Introduces New Balance Numeric

Using famed Chavez Ravine as the stage for a historic announcement, Mike West recently introduced various people to New Balance Numeric – a skate-inspired collection with Jamie Thomas that combines both tradition and innovation. Though New Balance historically has always had numbered shoes, the Numeric line adds a name to each of the numbered models – with influence drawn from various parts of Boston. Officially, the Logan 637, Stratford 479, Brighton 344 and Quincy 254 all combine elements of their signature runner (574), but with limited stitch-lines, appropriate skate textiles, and of course familiar NB design cues. In addition, New Balance Numeric has also recently signed skate legend PJ Ladd to an ever-evolving team that will slowly be rolled out as the August release date of the collection nears.
