For his inaugural festivities on January 19 and 21, President Barack Obama will be holding galas and a children’s concert, all of which will include performances by some of the biggest artists of American past and present. Amongst the lineup is Smokey Robinson, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Usher, the cast of ‘Glee’, fun., Far East Movement, Mindless Behavior and of course, Beyoncé, who will be singing the national anthem at the main ceremony. Coinciding with that star-spangled lineup comes an official inauguration playlist presented by the President himself. The 17-track Spotify set features songs by all of the aforementioned, as well as the rest of the performers who will hit the stage at the special events. If you, like us, weren’t one of the lucky few who was able to purchase a ticket to the Inaugural Ball in the brief period they were available this past Sunday, it looks like this playlist and TV will have to do this coming holiday weekend.
