While it may recall certain aesthetics of the big three gaming platforms, the GameStick is in a class all its own. The Android-based GameStick is a new console that does away with the bulk of the traditional platforms, instead centralizing all controls and connectivity into one sleek controller. The independently developed platform launched on Kickstarter today, hoping to gain traction in the arguably monopolized playing field that is modern video gaming. While small, the GameStick is not without its technological merits, boasting 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and Bluetooth connectivity. The console draws its power over HDMI, so whenever the GameStick need be transported, it can be easily unplugged and taken on the road.
