The ongoing content from Life + Times sees the online producer catching up with A$AP Rocky to discuss the meaning behind the intro track “Long.Live.A$AP” from his forthcoming album of the same name. In speaking about the rough and rugged upbringing that inspired the ominous track Rocky commented, “Growing up between Bronx and Harlem, I felt like it was times I thought I wouldn’t even make it. I thought maybe I’mma die in these streets or I’mma die in jail.” Additionally, the much-buzzed-about emcee talks about how the track is quite conceptual noting “I’m putting myself into the existence of like a 22-year-old, New Orleans, Magnolia kind of trapper or something like that. I feel like that’s where I can go with my music and stuff. Sometimes you can speak in third person, and be another person.” Long.Live.A$AP hits stores on January 15.
