The young creative remained true to his highly-acclaimed sportswear aesthetic, yet found a way to leverage said aesthetic into something unique. As with the art of many young people, the running theme within the line seems to be division – two- and three-tone sweaters and knits appear alongside jackets with customizable sleeves while striped pants populate Shannon’s offering. In combination with bright reds, acid-washed blues and hazelnut, there is a disruptive and rebellious, albeit retroactive tone about these pieces; yet the line comes off completely original. We are also given a look at Christopher Shannon’s ongoing, hiking boot inspired footwear capsule collection with Kickers, as this marks the third season that the two labels have worked together.
