Starting next month, Aston Martin rolls out the latest edition of its Rapide. First introduced in early 2010, the car takes its name from the model made by Lagonda – a British luxury car marque that was bought by Aston Martin in 1947. This latest edition, the Aston Martin Rapide S, is outfitted with an all-new AM11 V12 engine which produces 550hp and 457lb-ft of torque. With such a literal name to live up to, it does so in spades by doing 0-60 in an impressive 4.9 seconds and topping out at 190mph. In addition, it will feature a new and much larger aluminum grill, seven new body panels, and a decklid spoiler for improved aerodynamics. Look for this one when it becomes available for order worldwide next month.
