If you’re still having trouble dating some documents with 2013, imagining 2015 may be a bit of a stretch. The automotive design geniuses at Acura might be a bit more forward-thinking though, having unveiled initial designs for its 2015 NSX model at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. While still in its concept phase, the model is a follow-up on last year’s NSX model, with minor tweaks throughout. The silhouette takes on a low, centered and angled form, with sharp, aerodynamic points throughout the body. Featuring a 7-speed manual transmission, the NSX’s V6 engine is projected to run more along the lines of a V8, yet with fuel efficiency more comparable to a motorbike. While there’s no price set just yet, Acura has announced that the 2015 NSX will retail in the ballpark of $100,000. If you’re particularly interested, you’ve got the next two years cut out for you.
