Set to be officially announced to the photographic world on September 17, 2012, preliminary images reveal the simplistic, yet high-powered capabilities of both the Leica D-Lux 6 and V-Lux 4. Based on the outward designs of both the Panasonic LX7 and FZ200 cameras, minimal branding is present on each — allowing for a streamlined and professional aesthetic. Key features for the D-Lux 6 include new 1/1.7” 10.1MP MOS sensor, Venus Engine image processor, Leica DC Vario-Summilux 24mm f/1.4 lens, and full HD 1080 video recording. As for the V-Lux 4, it boasts a 12.1 MP MOS sensor, 25-600mm f/2.8 Leica optical zoom lens, and full HD 60p video recording. Stay tuned for more details and pricing for the latest from Leica.
