Inspired by Eric Rohmer’s quirky 1971 film Claire’s Knee, Steven Alan‘s latest pieces for Spring 2013 are highlighted by the use of lightweight fabrics. The use of linen, chambray and silk cottons alongside a slew of prints make for a comfortable collection that also includes the likes of faded plaids and a unique “pink lemonade stand” pattern created by one of the design team’s interns. Rounding out the looks were Alan’s tailored suits and signature button-downs.
