When Beatport and a big name EDM artist like Skrillex offer up an open contest to remix a track, the outcome usually equates to a mass stampede of submissions from around the world – some are good, some are great, and some are bad. In this instance, Skrillex and Damian Marley’s “Make It Bun Dem” has had countless reworks being placed online including the commendable effort from Butch Clancy we posted earlier this week. Now Houston producer Feature Cuts has disclosed his own take that has garnered our attention. This remix takes the original further into the darker, grimier elements of dubstep. Starting off slow with high-pitched synths building up into a heavy drop, the track is sure to be one of the contenders in this contest.
