Introducing a new set of portraits from A. Sauvage founder Adrien Sauvage’s ongoing project ‘On The Road,’ we see hip-hop icon Yasiin Bey as the set’s subject sporting a full suit – the chosen attire to inspire the series. Sauvage’s aim with his visuals is to let the subjects run free with the shoot’s direction without any interference; a self-expression from an array of notable individuals is captured from what they choose to wear, to how they wear it. In this case, Bey is found wearing goods from Sauvage’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection, and is seen traveling across U.S. borders from New Orleans to Houston, Texas while simultaneously avoiding a run-in with Hurricane Isaac. The purpose behind the project? To showcase Sauvage’s “fascination with the internal and external influences that enable Individualism.”
